Hotspot Spoken Message

Updated:

Hotspot Spoken Message

Scene hotspots can now speak a custom Spoken Message when tapped. There are two ways to set the message: type it and let the device read it aloud, or record it so the hotspot plays back a real voice.

Type a Spoken Message

1. Select Scenes.
2. Select Editor on the left sidebar
3. Tap the pencil icon on a scene, then tap Edit Hotspots in the Scene Maker.
4. Tap Add to create a new hotspot (draw and resize the rectangle over the object), or tap an existing hotspot and choose Edit.
5. The hotspot window opens with a Label field and the Spoken Message section.
6. On the Spoken Message section, select Type.
7. Tap the text box and enter the message using the keyboard. This is what the device will say aloud when the hotspot is tapped — it can match the label or say something different (for example, label “Hood” with the message “Open the hood”).
8. Tap Preview to hear the message read aloud, then tap Save.
