A Lingraphica device trial is an essential step that helps you and your speech-language pathologist learn how to make the most of an AAC device. During this stage, we’ll partner to personalize your device and help you to reach your goals.
Once we’ve gathered your information along with your SLP’s, we’ll ship out a device free of charge. Once it arrives, we’ll walk you through setup, and get you up to speed with your new device.
There’s no rush. This step typically lasts several weeks. You’ll work alongside a speech therapist to familiarize yourself with a device and how it can accommodate your specific needs.
Together, we’ll determine if the device is a good fit for you. If it is, we’ll work with you to get a permanent device in your hands.
Lingraphica communication devices are funded by Medicare, Medicaid, VAs, commercial insurance, and others. We also offer financial assistance for out-of-pocket expenses.
During your device trial, you and your SLP will customize it with unique icons, phrases, settings, and more. When your new device arrives following a trial, it will come pre-loaded with all your customizations.
Lingraphica is with you from day one. We’ll manage any necessary paperwork, walk you through the funding process, all while providing unlimited training and technical support.
