Welcome to the Lingraphica Student Certification Program! We’re glad you’re here. This program has been created especially for graduate students to prepare you for working with Lingraphica’s technologies in your clinical placements and careers. By completing this program, you’ll gain knowledge and confidence in our technologies and their clinical implementation. Not only that, you’ll also be joining the Lingraphica community with the opportunity to network with practicing SLPs. Plus, it can be a nice addition to a résumé.
Step 1
Webinar
If you haven’t had a live webinar presented to your class, get started by watching this webinar and device demo. If you have previously attended a live Lingraphica webinar that was presented to your university class this semester, you can skip to Step 2.
Step 2
Observe a Join In Aphasia session.
- First, create an account at community.lingraphica.com, preferably using your university email address. If you have previously created an account, select “Login” in the upper right corner.
- Once logged in, you will be able to view all upcoming sessions for Join in Aphasia. Do not RSVP or enroll yourself in any sessions. This could take a limited spot away from a member with aphasia.
- Make a note of the session title, time, time zone, and date for 2-3 session options you would like to observe. Because these observation slots fill up quickly (especially at the start of a new semester) and no more than 3-5 observers are admitted per session, you should select 2-3 options to ensure speedy registration.
- Email our team at community@lingraphica.com to request to request an observation, including the session title, time, time zone, and date for the 2-3 options you selected.
- Certain sessions do not allow observations due to their sensitive and private nature: Think Positive, Couples Open Chat, Caregivers: Circle of Support, and Living with PPA
- Please make your observation request at least 24 hours in advance of the session. We are often unable to accommodate last minute observation registrations.
- Once your email is received, we will enroll you for your first available observation choice. When registered, you will receive a confirmation email with the session’s zoom link. Our inbox is monitored Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM ET. Email requests received after hours or over the weekend will be replied to on the following business day.
- When it is time to observe the session, you can either join via the Zoom link that has been emailed to you, or by selecting “Join Live” on the session on the website, https://community.lingraphica.com/c/aphasia-sessions. Please arrive on time so as not to disrupt the session once it has started.
WHILE OBSERVING: All observers must edit their Zoom name to “First Name Last Name – Observer”. Example: Jen Stanley- Observer. Also, please, keep your camera off and microphone muted throughout the duration of the session. Simply observe, do not participate.
Step 3
TalkPath News/ TalkPath Therapy Project
Complete the TalkPath News/TalkPath Therapy project. You can find that here. Once you have completed that, you’ll upload your work here.
Step 4
Customization Demo
Complete a 30-minute device customization demo with one of our Clinical Educators. You will have the opportunity to see and use the devices in this Zoom meeting. You do not need a device on hand for this demo.
Please Note: We do not offer Student Customization sessions on a weekly basis. It is your responsibility to know your professor’s project due date and plan accordingly. We cannot accommodate individual requests for make-up sessions.
Sessions are typically scheduled for 1-2 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays per month depending on the availability of our Clinical Educators.

Step 5
Wrapping up
Once all requirements have been met, please allow 48 hours for your Certificate of Completion to be emailed to you. If you do not receive it within that time frame, please email us at learn@lingraphica.com

Clinical Rounds
You are welcome to attend & participate in optional Clinical Rounds sessions.
Clinical Rounds are Zoom sessions where practicing SLPs come together to discuss their experiences with Lingraphica technologies, talk about clinical scenarios, and more. Sessions are held at varying times throughout the month. All the details are communicated through the LCP Connections e-newsletter that goes out at the end of each month.
