Diversity at Lingraphica: Internal Initiatives

Diversity and inclusion have become essential elements of building successful and forward-thinking organizations. At Lingraphica, we recognize the importance of diversity and are taking proactive steps to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace. Our internal initiatives include the ongoing work of our DEI committee, awarding quarterly honorariums to outside organizations, and establishing monthly internal educational programming on DEI topics. 

 

Formation of the DEI Committee 

Lingraphica’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee includes individuals from various departments within the organization. The committee meets regularly with a shared goal of cultivating an inclusive workplace culture. The DEI committee takes an active role in formulating strategies, implementing policies, and organizing events to promote diversity and equity within the company. In one recent example of the group’s actions, the Neurodiversity subgroup presented a proposal of changes and enhancements to Lingraphica’s Human Resources team in an effort to provide a more inclusive workplace for Neurodivergent employees. 

 

Quarterly Honorariums 

We recognize that diversity extends beyond the confines of our organization, and we aim to make a positive impact in the broader community. To achieve this, the company provides quarterly honorariums to meaningful foundations that align with its values and mission. Most recently Lingraphica made donations to the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH) and The Loveland Foundation. By actively supporting these foundations, Lingraphica aims to advance diversity and equity beyond its immediate sphere of influence. 

 

TableTalk 

Ongoing learning and open dialogue have become a cornerstone of Lingraphica’s DEI efforts. Our TableTalk sessions provide opportunities for employees to learn and engage in meaningful conversations about various diversity-related topics. Sessions are offered monthly, and often align with celebrations and holidays within that month. Employees are encouraged to participate in open discussions, share their perspectives, and learn from one another’s experiences. Recent session topics include Black Health and Wellness, Neurodiversity and Autism, and Power Dynamics and Intersectionality. 

Lingraphica’s internal initiatives have ensured that diversity and inclusion remain at the forefront of our operations. By prioritizing DEI, Lingraphica aims to provide an environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel valued and empowered.
