The 3 Steps to Becoming an LCP Member

Step 1: Watch the Lingraphica Essentials Webinar Series

Lingraphica Essentials is a three-part series that will give you a thorough foundation in Lingraphica’s AAC devices and clinical implementation with your patients. You will earn 3 hours of ASHA CEU credit by completing the whole series. Please make sure to watch each course:

Part 2: Lingraphica Essentials: Explore
Part 3: Lingraphica Essentials: Conquer

Please note: If you have already completed these courses,you don’t need to complete them again. Continue to step 2.

Step 2: Get Hands-On with a Lingraphica Device

Choose 1 of the following options.

Trial Option

- - - - Iniciar una prueba
      - Anatomy of a Lingraphica Trial
      - Complete the Lingraphica Trial Time Log and upload it into the Using Lingraphica Speech Generating Devices in a Clinical Setting course that corresponds with the amount of time you have logged. Note: ASHA allows SLPs to count time spent in a Lingraphica trial for either 0.8 or 2.4 CEUs once every 2 years.

Non-Trial Option

- - - - Sign the Loaner Agreement.
      - Schedule a Device Demo
      - Following completion of the device demo, go to the Learning Portal and enroll in the course Let’s Get Functional 2: Hands On with Lingraphica Hub.
      - Upload your completed Let’s Get Functional Time Log into the course in the Learning Portal.

Step 3: Learn About Device Enhancements

- - Watch Using Lingraphica Hub to Enhance Therapy, Community, & Connection in the Learning Portal.
  - Practice using TalkPath Therapy, TalkPath News, Community, and Connect.
  - Observe a Virtual Connections Session.
    Visit virtualconnections.com and click “Login” in the upper right corner. Log in using your Lingraphica account information, or make an account by clicking “Sign Up”. Once you have logged in, you will be able to view all upcoming sessions on Virtual Connections. Click the session you are interested in attending to learn more, but please do not enroll yourself as this takes away a slot from a member.
    Email virtualconnections@lingraphica.com with the session name/date that you would like to attend. A member of the Virtual Connections team will enroll you. Please note that we do not allow observers in any PPA or care partner sessions due to privacy reasons.
    When it is time to observe the session, you can either join via the Zoom link that has been emailed to you, or by clicking “Join Live” on the session on the website, virtualconnections.com. Please arrive on time so as not to disrupt the session once it has started. The Virtual Connections Team will send further instructions.
    VERY IMPORTANT: Change your Zoom name to say “First Name Last Name – Observer”. Example: Jen Stanley- Observer.
    Keep your camera off and microphone muted throughout the duration of the session. Simply observe, do not participate.
  - Log a total of seven (7) hours for this self-study on your Therapy, Community, & Connection Time Log and upload your time log into the course.

Final Step: Program Completion

That’s it! When you have completed all three steps you debe complete the form below to verify your completion and request your certificate. Program Members will receive a congratulatory shipment celebrating your accomplishment. In addition, Program Members will be announced in the LCP Newsletter and their name will be added to the Lingraphica website as a Certified Lingraphica Technology Specialist.
